WARE SENIOR CENTER Director- Ware, MA- The Ware Senior Center in the Town of Ware (population approx. 9,900) is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of the Ware Senior Center Director. Responsibilities include ensuring programs, activities and services meet the needs of Ware’s seniors, developing and managing daily operations of the Senior Center, seeking and administering grants, providing information and access to social service programs available to seniors working closely with other departments and divisions, elected officials, community organization and citizens to provide a high quality service organization to seniors. Ability to work collaboratively with others, develop a long term strategy for senior services, and create an inclusive environment for Ware Senior Citizens. The position of Director requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, Masters Degree preferred with 5-10 years experience in social services administration, experience with older adults and excellent PC skills.
