LUDLOW - The Ludlow Register, founded in 1946, is "what
our Hometown reads for news." Those words, emblazoned on the
masthead of every copy of The Register, are what we at Turley Publications
live by.
As a free, community newspaper, our mission at the Register is to
provide accurate and informative news coverage on a wide variety of
subjects. Our editorial staff blankets the town, providing coverage
of political, educational, civic, extracurricular school events, business
and sports in Ludlow and Indian Orchard. But the highlight of our
coverage is people. Each week, we showcase the talents and achievements
of our residents.
We work to maintain a close relationship with members of our community,
covering stories to keep them informed and working to include those
stories they want to share with their neighbors. We depend on feedback
and response from our readers and so include a "People"
page in each edition of The Register where readers submit their own
stories and photos about events that are not only important, but personal.
We are always pleased to run these briefs, and in that sense, we are
a true "community newspaper," relying on those submissions
to catch the few stories our editorial staff may not cover.
